So if you have not seen this movie you should, if you have not read this book, (But I warn you you must like science fiction, have an interest in politics and can read into symbolism) then I suggest this. I will admit it, I have not read the book as of yet, I have seen the movie ONLY. Go the Wikipedia website and read what it is all about, the Novel by PD James, THE MOVIE IS A VERY LOOSE TRANSLATION, there are many characters and events that are different. But BOTH have great symbolism and thought provoking scenes and occurances, whether you are visual, a writer, religious, and I hope intelligent.

This book also reminds me of a book I would like to see an Adaptation come to film,
"Blindness" by Jose Saramago. This is book to check out as well, when it does come to film I know it will the shit out of me!
